Roasted Radishes // Ravanelli arrostiti

Friday, April 14, 2017

Before you say anything, yes, I do realise I just posted a roasted vegetable recipe the other day. But I love roasting foods, especially vegetables, and this is radishes' time.

If you are the kind of person used to eating raw radishes, well, in that case, you have to try them roasted, they are phenomenal. But I guess everything tastes amazing when roasted. I believe some could and would say that about fried food.

Anyway, roasted radishes. Forget their slightly spiciness, because when you'll take them out of the oven they'll be so sweet and irresistible, they'll become addictive. Seriously, they are so good, you will not want to share them with anyone!

But since Easter is coming, I urge you to make them and share them with your family and friends, I'm sure they'll be a very appreciated side dish.

INGREDIENTS
1 serving
  • 1 bunch of radishes (about 10)
  • 1 teaspoon extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS
  • Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • Wash the radishes, then cut off the roots, then quarter them.
  • In a bowl, add the radishes, olive oil, season with salt and pepper and toss to combine.
  • Spread the radishes on the baking sheet and baked for 20-25 minutes.
  • Move to a bowl and serve.
