Creamy Tomato Soup // Vellutata di pomodoro

Friday, July 29, 2016

Yes, I'm still making soups. Whether smoking hot or freezing cold outside, I do always enjoy a bowl of warm soup. What can I tell you, I love them. They are one of the easiest things to cook, just think about a few flavours that taste good together, throw them in a pot and stir.

Wednesday, July 27, 2016

I guess I lived under a rock for the past years because I've heard about Hasselback zucchini for the first time not a long time ago.

I'm pretty sure I already had the chance to tell you how much I love green. Just in case I hadn't, here's a green quinoa salad.

Miso Coconut Roasted Mushrooms // Funghi arrostiti al miso e cocco

Friday, July 22, 2016

I don't know about you, but I could eat mushrooms all day long, especially if they are incredibly cute like tiny cremini mushrooms. I love them so much, I'd be able to make a meal out of them. And that's exactly what I did with these Miso Coconut Roasted Mushrooms.

Beet Risotto // Risotto alla barbabietola

Wednesday, July 20, 2016

After my successful Vegan Caprese risotto, I decided to challenge fate again and attempt at making another risotto. And if the first time it's the beginners luck, the second time it's the skills. Am I being too modest?

Mediterranean Quinoa Salad // Insalata mediterranea di quinoa

Monday, July 18, 2016

It was a very hot day in August last year when I cooked quinoa for the first time. I had found a recipe on YouTube, I didn't have all the ingredients, and at the time I didn't like some of them, so I used what I add. The result was amazing.

Spicy Tahini Steamed Corn // Pannocchia al vapore piccante con tahina

Cantaloupe Breakfast Bowl

Saturday, July 09, 2016

I don't know if it's a new trend or anything, but I've seen cantaloupe bowls all over the internet. Instagram, other blogs, you name it. So I picked a cantaloupe at the store, and the next morning this cutie was born. It is quick and easy to make, it is healthy, and you can put anything in there.

Millet Pizza with Grilled Zucchini // Pizza al miglio con zucchine grigliate

Friday, July 08, 2016

I know what you're thinking, this girl doesn't like normal pizza. Well, while I do enjoy having a normal pizza once in a while, I don't want to work hard to make it at home. But sometimes I crave it, so I'm always trying to find quicker and more healthy alternatives to pizza dough.

Vinegret

Wednesday, July 06, 2016

I'm not sure if they are in season or not, but there's beets coming out of my garden and not using them would be a crime.

My mother is the family baker, so whenever my family is invited over for lunch or dinner, we always bring a delicious dessert over. Last Thursday we were invited for a barbecue, and I decided to do something completely crazy, make my first pie ever.

Friday, July 01, 2016

When wandering around the supermarket I see something green, it becomes almost impossible for me to resist, especially if we are talking about beautiful green bell peppers. But friggitelli aren't just green bell peppers, they have a slightly sweet note which makes them even more tasty and desirable.
