Hello and welcome to my brand new blog everyone!

My name is Sonia, and I am the creator of Inglourious Bananas. Some of you probably already know from Twitter, and it is thank to you, and your appreciation of the food I shared with you that I got into the world of food blogging.

I am not new to blogging though, as a matter of fact I'm currently writing on another blog also created by me, A Film A Day, where I share my passion for films. It is pretty obvious where I got the name from, right? I am a huge fan of Quentin Tarantino, and I love, absolutely love bananas, so why not combine one of my favourite movies with the best fruit ever? And that's how I came up with the title. Not before going through other ideas like "License to Cook" or "Leave the knife. Take the ravioli".

Okay, let's not divagate here. The reason why I created this blog is to share with you all my recipes, that are usually easy to make and delicious. I will also try to keep them as healthier as possible. I will not label my blog as vegan, or vegetarian, because I love salmon. And tuna. And I also happen to eat meat, occasionally.

But what is food for me? Well, it's not just nutrition for the body, or an explosion of flavours and pleasure, but means self-love. I've never had an easy relationship with food, but cooking, especially healthy food, taught me to look at food as a friend, not an enemy.

When in the kitchen, I like to experiment. I like odd combinations that don't always work. And I like food from all cultures. This is what I will share, in mostly single-serving recipes, with you.

Thank you for visiting and taking the time to read this. Please stay tuned for my first recipe post which will be up in just a couple of days!

Love,

Sonia

Non prima di scartare altre idee come "License to Cook" o "Leave the knife. Take the ravioli".

In cucina mi piace sperimentare.

Baci,

Sonia
